The FSU Real Estate Trends & Networking Conference is organized to inform participants of the emerging trends and issues facing the real estate industry. The conference focuses on factors affecting markets in the southeast region of the U.S.

Emerging Global Conditions by John Doggett, McCombs School of Business, University of Texas
Thursday Evening, Oct. 29: The 2009 conference will kick off with ABC's broadcast of the "Bobby Bowden Call-In Show" live in HD from the University Center Club ballroom during the conference opening dinner from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The evening's featured speaker will be NFL Hall of Fame Coach, Don Shula.
The broadcast and presentation will be followed by a jazz reception on the club's sixth floor.
Friday, Oct. 30: This year's conference is focused on identifying solutions and opportunities within a challenging market. Plenary and concurrent conference sessions will talk about emerging trends, new paradigms and unique short- and long-term strategies facing the real estate investment, finance and service communities.
Bob Sasser, President and CEO, DollarTree, Inc. is the featured speaker at Friday's lunch.
Real estate professionals involved in property development, investment, site selection, leasing, brokerage, commercial banking, mortgage banking, asset management, property management, consulting and advising, construction, private equity and venture capital placement, legal and valuation services, or community development.
